Hi everyone! My name is Alisa and my mom (Sue) and I started Minky Mamas together 5 years ago. I love all the minky fabrics so it’s hard to pick a favorite haha. But currently my favorites are any blue colors in Vienna and Sydney. However, when it’s time for Fall I LOVE anything in the dark, warm Fall colors!

I am so blessed to have an amazing family! My husband Jeff and I have been married for almost 12 years. We have an 8 year old boy (Landon), and 5 year old boy girl twins (Ellie & Boston). I love being at home and spending time with my family. I also love playing games (board, card and video games) or watching Jeff play video games with a great story (currently we’re playing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom). I love spending time with my kids and especially taking them fun places (our favorite is Disneyland!). When I have time to myself I always love learning new things! I like to read, listen to murder podcasts or audiobooks, doing craft projects, sewing, designing blankets, watching shows (murder documentaries, history shows, The Office, Spongebob, Frasier, etc.), and I LOVE going to the movies and dates with my amazing hubby!

Some things people may not know about me is once while making a blanket I accidentally cut off my finger tip with a rotary cutter - yikes! I am the oldest of 5, so I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters, and I also have 6 bonus step sisters and my family is amazing! Also my dream has always been to go to Europe - especially Paris! I took French for 5 years and have always wanted to go see all the monuments I learned about (particularly the Eiffel Tower!). A lot of my favorite classic authors are also from England, so I really want to go there to see where they lived and learn more about all the history there!
